On Friday 24th February, 5O performed their Class Assembly to the school.
In their History lessons, the children have been learning about the Anglo Saxons and the Vikings, so decided to bring it to the stage! The children showed the school how the Angles and the Saxons invaded Britain after the Romans left, and re-enacted a battle between the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings. The vicious Vikings were triumphant!
They finished their performance with a song from ‘Horrible Histories’ which explained some of the gory ways the Vikings took over Britain.
