Early Years Embark on a Recycling Adventure

The Early Years had a fantastic afternoon exploring the world of recycling! Our young learners ventured out on a walk down the high street to observe different types of recycling in action.

Along the way, we discovered a variety of recycling initiatives. We saw charity shops, where we learned about the importance of donating unwanted items to reduce waste and support good causes. We also identified different types of recycling bins and discussed the proper way to dispose of various items. Additionally, we learned about the environmental impact of food waste and the importance of composting or recycling food scraps. Finally, we discovered the benefits of repairing broken items rather than throwing them away, helping to conserve resources and reduce waste.

In addition to our outdoor exploration, we also had a messy but fun experience making our own paper!
