Normanhurst School is celebrating pupils’ GCSE success. Headmistress, Jacqueline Job, is delighted with the pupils’ achievements: ‘I am incredibly proud of our students who have shown remarkable perseverance and determination to achieve today’s grades. Their achievements reflect their personal development, hard work and commitment. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our teachers and support staff, whose dedication and expertise have been instrumental in guiding our students to success.
28% of grades are 7-9 and nearly 90% of grades are grade 4 and higher, with 85% in Maths and English language. Subjects including: Art, Graphics, Business, Drama, French, Geography, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Sociology and History recorded 100% grades 4-9. One third of all Maths grades were grades 7-9 and nearly 40% in individual sciences.
There were some notable individual performances including: Krish with one nine, three eight’s and four sevens, Darcey with two nines, two sevens, two sixes and two fives and Kian with two nines, two eights two sevens and three sixes, alongside many others achieving grades of which they can be extremely proud.
Our pupils are joining some outstanding schools and colleges, and I wish them the very best for the future.’
