Our pupils move seamlessly from Infants into Juniors, and the junior classrooms are mainly located together to encourage cooperation between classes.
The school day begins at 8.30am and ends at 3.30pm. There is a short play time each morning and afternoon, and the children are provided with a freshly prepared healthy meal by our Chef at lunchtime.
Pupils enjoy participating in the breadth of school life: on School Council, representing their school in competitions for sports, art, writing and more. They are encouraged to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities including a variety of sports, chess, art, drama and more.
Junior pupils have published two books: collections of short stories and poetry written by Years 3 to 6 across the school. Our junior pupils have been placed in the ISA National Art Competition.
We encourage friendly competition in the Juniors with regular House competitions including the weekly Times Tables Challenge, Spelling Bees and more.
Trips are a core part of school life and pupils in Years 3 to 6 have many opportunities to learn outside the classroom in a way that deepens and enriches their experience. These range from theatre and museum trips, history and art trips, residential camps and adventure holidays.
